Marine PopeDave was Streaming Pokemon Go when a homeless man came up to him and assaulted him, I think his intention was to try and knock him down to take his phones and rob him.
PopeDave ended the Stream to chase the assailant and call the police, coming back later to explain that he's okay and that he jumped a few fences and got away.
There were multiple people / witnesses in real life around him looking out for him after this, confirming that this actually happened. PopeDave's one of the most genuine Streamers, I can assure you this is real.
